Salmon University has a good 'how to' guide on their website on Tillamook Bay. Very shallow water, but BIG fish. Good luck.

I fished it yeeeeears ago and if I remember right, we fished it like we do in Gray's Harbor.  3 way swivel with 12" dropper, a 6 oz lead ball, 4-6 feet of leader and a black or blue label (the big ones) herring cut-plugged and trolled slooooowly.  I might be wrong but that is what I seem to remember.  I do know that we caught 3 kings over 45 lbs in one day.

A friend fished it this time last year with a guide. They caught some pigs and said it was a lot of fun in that shallow water, good luck.......................rf

My buddy fishes down there a lot each year for kings. He always catches 30 plus pounders. He is the most hard core fisherman I have ever met. He has invited me lots of times to go, but it never works out timewise for me.
