Eloika Lake

I've heard Eloika Lake is good for some big bass...I was wondering if anybody knew about when the fishing should start to heat up a little bit.

I use to fish it tons when I was in high school. I would rent a row boat at the resort with out a motor and row around the entire lake fishing, not anymore  :chuckle:. I went to Riverside just down the road. There are a few spots out there that are REALLY good. PM before you go. It should warm up by mid to late may. The crappie fishing is also really good.
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

My guess is that it isn't quite warm enough yet.  It is still iced over.  Won't be long now thou.
I've slowed down enough in my old age to finally let the game catch up to me

I have heard it is really good also.  I actually have a couple firends that caught some that were around 4 lbs last year.  I plan on making the trip up there once it warms up also.
