Firing pin options

I’m tinkering around with a model 700, I ran across a deal on an aftermarket firing pin assembly. It claims to make a lot of things better and it has excellent reviews. This isn’t something I had thought of before, now I’m wondering if the juice is worth the squeeze?

I think that that would be pretty far down my list on accurizing a rifle after barrel, action work, trigger, stock, load development. If you have optimized all that, and optics, I would consider it.

So if you have done everything you can and still want a bit more, do it, theyre not overly expensive. Rem factory fp assy can be sloppy so it cant hurt.

Unless there is an issue with your current firing pin assembly I don’t really see a reason to change it. Also if I were going to change the pin assembly I would want to have the bolt face bushes and the pin fit to that.
