Montana Pronghorn Units 530 and 620
« on: April 09, 2009, 08:47:28 AM »
Doing a little research on MT FWP Site.  I was thinking about putting in for these units.  Anyone ever hunt them?  Not looking for your honey hole, just wondering about access etc...
Units 530 and 620
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello
I haven't hunted those units, but grew up in the Milk River valley E of Chinook.  You can contact the Mt. game dept and get a copy of the Block Management list.  There are a lot of land owners that sign up for this program and it opens up a lot of private land.  We hunted some Block land  a couple yrs ago with good success.
Good luck with the draw.

It never changes, but it is always different.

Thanks Gramps.  I appreciate the info.  If I get drawn, I will be sending off for the BLM Maps of whatever unit we get drawn for.  I just don't want to put in for a unit that doesn't have any public access.
