Got drawn for the combo. Answer me this, how can I get drawn for Montana on a group hunt when I've been trying to get drawn in Washington for 11 years on all the good tags and I don't get crap? I always hunt Idaho but I have have a buddy from Butte that talked me into Montana on a group tag. Hopefullly it pans out. Did I mention that I love Idaho???

Because in Montana you HAVE to draw in order to hunt, and what you drew is still a general season hunt although the number of non-residents is limited. It is much easier to draw than the "good tags" in Washington. You wanna get drawn for something in this state? Apply for doe and cow tags.   :chuckle:

Welcome to the site. I hope you stick around and post some pictures and stories of your Montana hunt.
