It kind of looks like the Teflon tape might create a partial blockage of the hole where the spark has to pass through to ignite to powder. Evidently it hasn’t been a problem for you.It does seem like it would be less messy than grease.
Looks interesting, First question is where do you get that tape? Next question is what is the benefit to that vrs regular breach plug grease? Is it just cleaner and less messy?
Been doing this for a couple years now and really makes clean up eaaier. As sabotloader stayed popping a couple caps gets rid of the tape over hole.Sabotloader is this new tape thicker or just stronger? Thanks for the share

I really do think it is slightly thicker and definitely stronger! As I pull it around the BP it does not seem to stretch as easier as the white. I will add it is not as think as pink tape!
Interesting concept and a nice share. If I could get any of my breech plugs out, I'd try it.
Thanks for the idea. Anything to help cleaning and reduce false fires. I've been having them happen quite a bit lately. Think I need some new nipples.... but does anyone have any thoughts on the small vs. large nipple option for a Knight (mk-85)t? I'm rocking the small right now
