At least you got your first choice

 :sry:

🤣🤣.  The thing that hurts the most is we were busting my buddies balls because he screwed up his entry and put our particular hunt code as his first choice with 2 points.  We were like “dumb @as” you can draw that unit  2nd choice.  Well guess who drew a tag and who didn’t! 🤬😀.   Now he wants to meet for beers tomorrow at a local brew pub.  I hope they serve crow medium rare! 🤣🤣

Time to make it cost more to apply to get ahold of the point creep.  Rumor is almost 100,000 more people applied this year.

WHY WOULD ANYONE EBER SUGGEST THAT this sport and heritage survives when people, families , and friends can afford it.  Pushing it further and further to the unaffordable for some people just cause your mad you didn't draw the reasoning  makes zero sense if you care for hunting to keep moving forward for all people

Anyone who didn't plan for point creep this year hasn't been paying attention. Massive influx of new applicants 2 years ago because it was SUPER CHEAP left a lot of folks wanting to get out. What better time than when the season sets back a week. You'll have another tough draw year next season and then you'll see a massive correction as folks burn and get out. Most people go to these low or no point units and get their butts handed to them and don't come back. I've seen it year after year. People need to be thinking ahead more than just the current year. If you want tags you need to learn the game and how to play it  :twocents:

Everyone planned for a little  creep, but even the hunt planner said he’d never seen that kind of jump.  The rumor is 100,000 more people applied this year than last year, so there won’t be a correction any time soon.  I live in CO, and a bunch of my buddies and people I know are getting hammered this year......  It will be interesting to see what the Pronghorn unit I’ve been saving for looks like after all this.  It typically takes 4 years to draw, so next year would be my year.  Might be a few more years at this rate.

I anticipated for a 3 point creep in the unit I applied for. Turns out it was at least 4.

POint creep in Colorado will be bad this year and worse next was part of my logic ..

Exactly. We did points this year and should be able to easily draw our tag next0 with those dates.

All is good in the world. Guys waited until the last minute to login today, only to find there was a 10+ minute wait just to login.  I played it safe ant got my deer tag, but I’m kind of wishing I tried for the 1 remaining pronghorn tag I’ve been eyeing as well.  Guess I’ll be eyeing the leftover list the next two months.
