The last couple years I have seen more grouse then I have in many years. Mostly on the coast, but also the South I5 corridor.I overheard a F&W employee state to a commission member that raising the limit to 4 would not hurt the population.

WOW it could have already been mentioned but has anyone seen the NEW rifle tag for Nov. 1-20 in the Sinlahekin C GMU 215, any deer!!! That tag is gold, there are some HUGE mule deer in that area, they are only giving out 5 I think it said. I would say the chances of getting it are about as good as winning the lottery
I still don't get the whole cut the modern season down a week on the west -side mentality, who gives a crap if the season open's, or closes on a weekend, make it three weeks every year and leave it at that. Not a big deal to me as far as hunting time, I usually tag out in the first week, or not at all, so an extra week doesn't mean a lot to me, I just see no logic in the season setting and if people want to hunt more days, they should have the option, based on logic, not a calendar.
I am sure disappointed to see the shorter cougar season. Hopefully they will lengthen the season again in future years.
