Whew, A Long Day for Rey... and Us
« on: May 09, 2020, 04:36:35 PM »
Ten puppies on the ground. Five boys and five girls. The fifth puppy had a close call, very small and not breathing, but could see it had a heartbeat... a little mouth to snout and a lot of massaging had it crying and wriggling after about a half hour though.

Sorry for anyone interested, all have homes.  ;)

Thanks, likely this first night will be the deal breaker if it happens. He is suckling and moving around well, so fingers crossed that he is fine.

Little guy is doing well today. Bottle fed about a teaspoon of formula then got him to latch onto momma for a while. He was 7 ounces, largest was 16 and the rest over 11.

Here is a shot of the girls from yesterday.

Glad he is looking well. It's usually that first night that they're lost it seems. Sure is bittersweet when a pup doesn't make it
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Turns out it was only a tablespoon, but got two more in yesterday. He has gone from 7 to 8 ounces now. Five of them gained an ounce and a half yesterday to today.

He looks like a squirrel or a bat....   :chuckle:
