don't really see a problem with it, I think it would be an awsome tag, and might generate some excitment about possibly drawing that tag.

Sounds to me like you have the same hunt as Mr. Agnew at a $68,000.00 discount.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

I wouldn't wast my points on any other hunts. A rifle hunt in the peck of the rut.

I think they need to limit choices so that draw odds improve everywhere else.  With this 4 choice thing you'd be an idiot not to apply as your first two choices.  If it were your only choice, well, people would have to think a little.

I agree Bone, those premier tags should never go to a guy who put it down as a 4th choice. I think two choices on the draw would help the odds a ton. I will have 12 points this year and probably won't draw the bowtag I want while a guy with 2 points will get it on his 4th choice and he won't even know where the unit is!nwhunter

The odds are probably similar to winning the lottery, but somebody has to draw. I've got 11 points going in...

My prediction- draw odds for the rifle rut tags will be similar to sheep tags.  Those for teh regular big bull tags will get a little better, perhaps a couple hundred less people putting in for them.

Maybe breaking it down even further by having bull draw units only elegible to be drawn once every 3 years or so too. Still allowing a guy to get points but just not be able to put in for the branch bull tags.
