Yeah, they have to manually review your score and then send you the cert, which I believe does not expire.

There were some questions that weren't directly covered in the manual.  Somehow I got them all!  100% here!  I did NOT think that was going to happen.

I'm really excited about trying this now.  COVID training for the win!

I'm glad to see these online courses, we should be able to recruit more hunters and trappers into the outdoors!

I'm wondering if other states will honor this trapping course?

I don't believe any State accepts a trapper certification from another State. Not hard to understand when the laws from State to State vary so much.

I will just add that it is very nice having the convenience of the on-line course but about all new trappers would benefit from attending the class. We spend about half the class on how to trap and handle fur, something you don't get on-line.
Join us at our Summer Rendezvous and you will take the next step in trapper education.
You're welcome at one of our classes too whether you need the the certificate or not.

Hey all, just wanted to share that the Trapper Education test is now online, so you don't have to sign up to take the exam in person.  If you've ever been interested in trapping, but have decided not to due to the testing requirement, this might be a good time for you to get it done.  The trapper education booklet is about an hour read and the test is only 45 questions.  It should be pretty easy to pass if you read the pamphlet first.

I'm excited to give it a shot!  The test/certification is free, the license is obviously not and needs to be acquired every year.

Make sure to support your trappers association and become a member.  Im glad to see an easy way to get your trapping license but i hope people also take it serious and get involved.  Remember just because you can trap a certain way doesnt mean you should.  Good luck trapping everyone! Feel free to get a hold of me if you have questions.
