How was your hunt, success?  I hunt deer in the Okanogan and we see more and more moose sign every year, hoping for that tag one day myself.

Sorry to say. No moose for me, only saw a couple baby antlered bulls on day 1 and 2 of 12 days hunted. Still stings a bit  :chuckle:

My daughter drew the Quilomene sheep tag have to tell a little story so month or two ago I ask my daughter what she wanted to do for hunting because time why's she's in college not a hole lot of time you see to hunt  so she went on saying she didn't no if she wanted to hunt anymore she said.  she's been hunting since she was 12 and she said she's bad luck and never sees anything and never shot anything . . And as a father all I wanted  in life was and is to hunt with my kids and when she said it was like putting a knife through my heart .
I told her she'll get her chance and don't give up you'll get something special and bigger then anything in the family people will be jealous she looked at me and laughed  so I told her I was putting her in for the 3 oil tags sheep moose and goat since I been putting the kids in since they were 12
So time went by and the draws are posted I was out on the deck and going through the kids draws on my phone and all I  could see was not selected I couldn't see  what it was for so I keep going down on my daughters  same thing not selected then selected my heart stopped I swiped my phone to the right and saw it said any ram sheep I leaned over the deck instantly starting puking the most important thing in my life just happened sheep tag and it's for my daughter and she  was thinking on quiting hunting got a sheep tag unbelievable I called her up and when she answers her phone I broke down and started to cry she was like everything all right and all I could say is you don't even know what happened she ask me if everything and everyone all right I was crying and said yes told her I just found out that you drew a once in a lifetime sheep tag and that's the greatest thing in the world to get she started laughing at me and ask me why I was crying I told her you don't no what this means to me to take her hunting and go after something that everyone dreams about I would change it for the world I'm the luckiest father there is
And the most stressed father to my tag no big deal her tag to  a person that was thinking about quitting hunting because she never had a chance to harvest a animal because she thinks she's bad luck  she wants to so bad she loves the out doors she's the one that always want to go fish shoot guns and look for bears in the summer . a very big deal . I can't wait for my daughters  hunt and the family to go along on something so special one proud father .
