desert unit 290
« on: July 22, 2020, 03:42:06 PM »
My husband and I got selected for quality deer in the desert unit #290.
We have wanted to get over to scout the are but we are stuck in Seattle with my brother as he is going through cancer treatments and won't be done till end of August.
Any suggestions on which drainage to start, where to camp for hunting?
Would appreciate any suggestions..thank you

Don't worry you'll have plenty of time to scout. Its not a large unit. One long weekend should teach you everything you'll need for your hunt. Plenty of places to camp on both sides. State park with showers by Mardon. Little cabins and motel rooms at Mardon. Private camp grounds by Moses. Camp for free on any of the public throughout the unit. Take your pick. Good luck.
