Lake Chelan - early August

I'm heading back to my old stomping grounds on the dry side and am curious if arranging a charter is a good idea for Lake Chelan, and who folks would recommend?  Is it a good time of year to try for lake trout? I'm not that interested in fishing the Columbia for salmon at this point - did that last year, and am looking for a different kind of outing.  If not Lake Chelan - where, and why?

Most guides will probably be on the river and booked.

I would check to see if Darrel & Dads has room, there probably isn't an outfit that knows the lake better.

  We were up at the cabin end of July last year and some family friends booked them on short notice, they came back with a pile of fish and had a good time
