Lake Chelan - early August
« on: July 30, 2020, 07:11:52 PM »
I'm heading back to my old stomping grounds on the dry side and am curious if arranging a charter is a good idea for Lake Chelan, and who folks would recommend?  Is it a good time of year to try for lake trout? I'm not that interested in fishing the Columbia for salmon at this point - did that last year, and am looking for a different kind of outing.  If not Lake Chelan - where, and why?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Most guides will probably be on the river and booked.

I would check to see if Darrel & Dads has room, there probably isn't an outfit that knows the lake better.

:yeah: We were up at the cabin end of July last year and some family friends booked them on short notice, they came back with a pile of fish and had a good time
