camping reco's near Riggins?

Heading over near Riggins with the wife and kid to go see some country this weekend, anybody have a good recommendation on where to camp? We'll have our small trailer, near water would be a plus since its supposed to be hot but not mandatory. I'm sure the spots on the river will be full up.

I have parked a trailer along the river south of Riggins several times in the spring for the boat race. Several wide spots along the road on the river side....no hook up, some shade, some not.

From what I remember, not much water once you leave the river bottom, it gets steep pretty quick. I'd check out every rv spot and possibly a vrbo or rental house on the river, if they have any there.
