Does anyone know if you can buy a couple states or do you have to buy the whole US?  I'm hunting Washington and Oregon and am curious if I need to buy the single state or multiple.  Thanks in advance.

You can buy one state or all of them.  You can pay monthly though and just buy a few months a year.

That said, for $99 a year, it's going to be in big trouble when GoHunt rolls out their maps and you get mapping plus all of the tag info for a few bucks a year more.

Basemap i believe gives you all 50 states for the same 30 bucks a year. It seems to be a good app, just not quite as user friendly as OnX.

That's my only complaint about OnX so far.  Is only being able to purchase one state, or having to purchase all of them at once.

If you call them, they will give you a deal on the just the states you want. They have done that for me the past couple years.

I’m trying out BaseMap this year because it’s way cheaper. I think onx is a littler more intuitive and has some better features but it may be that I’m just not used to basemap yet

Back in 2018 when I went to ID to hunt elk and wolf, I got a hold of OnX to see if I could just purchase ID, and they turned me down. Maybe if I call again, things might be different?  ID is really the only other state I want besides WA.  And WY... and oh wait... maybe MT...

You can buy single states, you just have to set up a different account for each state, using a different email address.... 

Kind of a PIA, but saves you a little cash if you only want 2 or 3 states and you get the 17.99 deal on Camofire.

Not sure what this is all about. I bought the chip with my Garman gps 2 years ago for WA. It still works. I bought the Mt chip last year and planned on using it again this year. Is it supposed to quit after a year?

its no fully up to date so any changes in ownership wont be on it, but if your using it on public land or on land that you know hasnt changed hands your good to go

its no fully up to date so any changes in ownership wont be on it, but if your using it on public land or on land that you know hasnt changed hands your good to go

Up to date ownership.     Property we bought over 2 years ago hasn't been updated.

Right? Tht only proves that the chip is a great deal because its "effective" beyond 1 year.
