Yelp just called on his cell so I could listen to him howl and get a response from 5 gobblers. He just put them to bed. No snow on the ground where he is at, but he was freezing his you know what off....said it was pitch dark and about 25 degrees. Heard a total of 40 birds pitch up into the roosting area.
Better yet he has the only trailer where they are camped and the rest of those that showed up left theirs....so Yelp will be sharing. Should be a peaceful night....the others snore...lol. Morning will come early
Oh and 5 gobblers.....out of 40 birds to the roost....ah lets see.....35 plus or minus hens to compete with in the a.m. Any bets on Yelp
