Grant County Fair 4-H Market Lamb Judging
« on: August 25, 2020, 05:20:44 PM »
So grateful Grant County Fair held a Market "show" and sale for the kids. The Fair brought in professional judges, and animals were judged without exibitors in the show ring. There were a lot of entries in all species. The on line auction went great, and all kids were able to sell for a decent price. By the way, my daughter's lamb was the Grant County Fair Grand Champion 4-H Market Lamb.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

That's outstanding! Congrats to your daughter! So glad the kids were able to recoup some of the costs with the online auction.  The Grant County fair was always a highlight of my year growing up, showing pigs and horses.  Hope things will be back to normal next year!

That’s a good lamb. Congrats to your kid and happy it worked out for all involved.

Our sale would be this coming weekend. Ain’t happening. At all. Boo hiss.

That is very tough Jackelope, no good at all. Wish things would have worked out for a sale for you guys.

The judges oral reasons for all the Lambs (and other species) are on YouTube under Grant County Fair. My kids group of 6 starts at about 53min on the 4-H lamb video. Daughter tag #418, Son tag #417.
