They seem to be making headway’s on these fires I’m thinking they’ll open it back up

It's not just the active fires, it's the crazy conditions.  I think they will need to see a change in those, at least a bit which is hopefully already happening.  If it's 90 degrees, 12% humidity and windy, it's a sketchy thing.

Pretty much all the woods are shut down in SW WA & NW OR thru sunday it appears.   OR State Forests,  Southern half of GPNF.

I haven't heard any updates on if the national forests are set to close, has anyone heard any thing about that?

I don't believe you'll see much change from the closures unless we get a near season ending event, serious rainfall or snow afte rall the closures do provide more control and loss of freedoms in the name of safety.
