I have been shooting archery for about 10 years and have hunted archery for probably 5 or 6 seasons. Took a break and hunted rifle after I had my kiddos. I am getting my bow tuned up again and considered using a nose button to help with consistency (although my anchor point has always been knuckle to jaw line and peep to sight). My nose though doesnt touch my string, it never has. I have had two different bows, this one being a Matthews Chill SDX. I don’t think it would make sense to try to change my head tilt or draw length just to have that extra anchor point. Am I crazy for not having the string touch my nose? Its all about preference and what you’re comfortable with, right? But on the other hand another anchor point wouldn’t hurt. Any thoughts on this?
