The danner acadia holds up incredibly well. No complaint there. Lots of years on acadias. Just thought I'd venture into comfort. I'll go back to acadia and a good insole or go to Kenetrek patrol after I sell a kidney. Lol
Do you want me to move this to the classifieds?  :chuckle:

As long as it's approved. What's the going rate?

I'm a new Kenetrek fan..

Bought a pair in Clarks all sports, got the Kenetrek grease, then went to Idaho chasing elk with zero break in, just grease and go!

I figured my feet would be trashed, but not one blister!

This was day 1 on the Kenetrek boots

Impressive, as it was all up and down on elk trails and no blisters

(elevation is turned off unfortunately, since I turned off all the auto workout detection crap I lost that function)

Even if you were a toe dragger, how the hell would you do that to a pair of boots in a few outings without tripping and stumbling everywhere?

Ii don't get blisters in Kenetrek either. I even had a 24 mile in 18 hours day one time. The boots saved my life. MtMuley can vouch for that day. In fact it's his fault.

A lotta people praise the Crispi Nevada and Lapponia, but I've never seen anything like that. Sucks that their customer service didn't even offer to repair or something.

Hahahaha, what do you expect outta two grown men awoke from a mid day nap in the wilderness chasing a string of ruff stock through the mud in their skivvies?! :chuckle: :chuckle:

I had suggested I send back and pay difference to the Nevada as I hear it is better leather. Nope not an option.

Good to know that their customer service sucks...You can find Scarpa boots on Sierra Trading Post on sale all the time for less than $100. Crispi & Scarpa are very similar.

Strange.. I have 3 pairs of Crispi's. No issues.
I would be irritated too.

Old thread now, but I've had the Crispi Oasi and Guides.  Love the guides and will likely get some Nevadas too (same boot but not as tall.)  But wasn't impressed with Oasi boots.  Not at all the same build quality, to me.  And they fit different too.  I think they are less expensive too.
