Prescott whitetail doe hunt help please
« on: October 03, 2020, 11:15:04 AM »
Hi all,
I hate to be this guy, but circumstances are making me do it...

Wifes disabled uncle drew a whitetail doe tag in the prescott unit. I have been in the area hunting coyotes in the past, and havent seen a bunch of whitetails, but also wasnt deer hunting so wasnt looking for em.

Im hoping someone can give me a good jumping off point in the unit that I can start at. Uncle is physically ad slightly developmentally disabled.
He cant walk much, maybe 500 yards of gentle slopes. Hes only got a few more years of hunting left in him, if its even a few. I would love to be able to help him fill one more tag, but am not much of a deer hunter, and dont know where to start out there!

The tag runs november 1st-12th, and well probably hunt the 1st, then thursday-sunday of the following weekend.

I appreciate any advice or help!

Swing by the house and bring your phone with onx or any mapping and I add some pins for you.
