I struck out this year...but Ive hunted montana the last three yrs and have only been drawn once...there is always hope! :'(

 Ridge/ Bone, try for the leftovers if still possible, if not you could still get a doe tag for some venison and scout out some spots for next year. My challenge as a person who'll be a first timer and who is primarily a meat hunter will be to hold out for the most mature buck. The good thing though is that the relatives I'm going with really know the area and have some good private honey holes.
