Buddy Desolation Tag
« on: October 26, 2020, 07:16:22 AM »
Friend of mine got selected for any branch bull tag in the Oregon Desolation Unit. He got down Saturday night, opener is Tuesday and closes Sunday.  Hope he gets into them. His brother has hunted a couple seasons down there in the past.  Hope he manages to pull one out. It's going to be COLD!   Anyone hunt down there before (recently)  What's the country like down there? Good populations?  If he gets one down, I told him I will be putting it up here....of course!
If I'm not selling, I should be hunting, If I'm not hunting, I should quit!

We hunted it for the archery season this past September. It has good numbers of elk. Some of the lower country was more open and some of the country was THICK. Should be a fun hunt for your buddy.

Sweet! Did you guys tag out? I'm excited for him. I wanted to go along, but holding PTO days for late buck.
