I know the resort at the mouth is for sale..
Don't know about much wdfw land there...
But I was looking for access inland for elk...

I have hunted that many times in the past. There is a launch at the mouth of Smith Creek and North River directly underneath the highway. You can launch a small boat or kayak and go out the main Channel about 400 m on your left you will find plenty of dry ground. Hunt that on an incoming tide, but be aware that anything over 9 foot will inundate those spots. Closer to Tokeland is the Cedar River which is a sleeper for geese.

Thanks for advice and nice ducks.  I start work next week out there, will definitely be bringing my gear and poking around those areas.  Scouted some areas just south toward Raymond off the highway that didn’t look to bad as well..

Assuming you get off work in the afternoon, the tides are not the best next week. If you quit at noon, you'll  be fine later in the week
