Doug, you're killing us!  And these are the ones that don't make the cut for the calendar?  Your photography is exceptional and same for your skills of finding beautiful animals.

Thank you!!!

In all honesty, the Calendar is probably not going to happen this year.   My publisher stopped with the high grade option that Ive used for the last ten years.   I can only use the cheaper version that many of the others use.  I really didnt want to cheapen the legacy of Muley Madness.   Secondly, I was afraid with limited time this year I wouldnt get the images.  That was probably worng. I've stumbled into some really good bucks.      I havent been sorting my pics.   Just posting them as I go through them.   I have to admit, its somewhat less stressful.  I had contemplated on a coffee table type book, filled with nothing but bucks, but its only in the dream stages at this point.  So far Huntwa and facebook have been the benefactors of my good fortune in the woods.

I like the dark lighting in that photo. Its like storm clouds just rolled in and the deer is giving the "I need to find a tree to lay under" look.

Those kind of bucks get me fired up. He may not be exceptionally wide, or tall, but the mass, the symmetry, the long forks, oh yeah, I love seeing those kinds of bucks.

Such a cool photo Bone.  Thanks for posting them.

Another great pic Bone!  I think you could probably sell out a first printing of a coffee table book with just the folks on this site!
