Besides the usual.. stuffing (family recipe),  green bean casserole, Shredded cheesy potato casserole...

I'm making my sauerkraut which takes all day.  I use sausages from the local Bavarian deli and I take the opportunity to load up on a few good specialty mustards.  Can't wait!

Venison summer sausage and polish sausage with cheeses and crackers. Probably some veggies here or there, too.

I have some four meat, smoked cheese and garlic summer sausage that I made that I will have out and today I am making some berry tarts with the pie filling I canned this summer that I will top with a drizzle of cream cheese frosting.

(The four meats in the sausage are deer, bear, elk and pork)
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

On 21 June, 2025 the US bombed three Iranian nuclear sites and, according to the President the Iranian nuclear capability was "obliterated". Now it appears the the US is again preparing military strikes on Iran if they won't agree to abandon their nuclear program that is/was reportedly in ruins?????
Who knew that Obama winning an Nobel Peace Prize would lead to this?

I'll be doing stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon. Someone bought me a steel tray that sits above the counter by about 3 inches on its legs. It's in the shape of a jalapeno and holds about 24 of them so when the tops are cut off the peppers they sit in the holes pointing up so the stuffing doesn't come out.

I stuff them only half way full with cream cheese, wrap in slightly cooked bacon, and then throw the set up on the grill for twenty minutes or so. Not everyone's favorite but I usually eat a few before dinner and then throw a few more on my plate(s).   :chuckle:
