Turkey 1, hunter 0

Yesterday my brother-in-law and I went turkey hunting for the 1st time ever. Saw a few turkeys and got schooled several times. Tried calling, locating, etc. We were in a position yesterday afternoon, set-up calling, could see the turkey but just hung up about 70 yards.  We were hunting with bows which made it even harder.  I can see using a shot gun may help reduce the movement.  Very challenging day, BUT we had a lot of fun, learned a lot and will be back out next weekend.
We stopped for lunch, grilled some brats and made some baked beans. Great lunch
