Feed issue

A few years back I bought a Dickenson semi auto 12 guage. I know, it's a low budget gun, so I really dont need to get feedback on that.
My problem is, on high speed ammo (1400-1550) steel loads, the first shot is fine, but it loads the next two shells. One is being loaded into the chamber, the other goes under it and it jams. I have to remove the trigger assembly to clear it. Is there some adjustment to correct this?

See if the manual says to run target loads for thee first few hundred or so. Some auto's need to get broken in. My Browning, Baikal and Beretta all needed to be broken in.

I’m not familiar with that particular gun, but I’d try giving it a good cleaning before tearing into it too far. It sounds to me like the shell latch for the magazine may be staying open too long, allowing for a double feed. A bunch of powder gunk buildup in the trigger group could cause that.

I tend to remove the trigger groups from my gas guns at least once a season and hose them out with solvent, then use a dry spray lube on them before reassembly.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Solvent HAS helped at times, but is not the answer. I keep it super clean, but man I have lost a lot of geese over this gun.

I'm not trying to be a smart alek, but I would only load 2 shells until you can work it out.

I switched to a double barrel several years ago, and I actually kill more birds.......   I think I panicked trying to make sure I'd get three shots off, when two well placed shots worked out better.

I hope you can figure it out.....   Let us know if you do.

clean it , shoot it, if you cant make it work can it and get something else...your hunting time is too valuable to futz with a gun like this.. not familiar with brand but they do have a contact number, maybe an issue the company can resolve for you? return spring replacement? not sure of the inertia system but if like Benelli, they have different spring system that is in the rear stock for early gen models...

I am going to be brutally honest and say go get a new gun if it is in your budget. I would not want any frustration from a gun when I am out hunting and doing what I love.

Most semis will cycle heavier loads better than light target loads, so the typical break in involves shooting what you are shooting for a while before trying the light stuff.

I would also probably go with 1 in the pipe and one in the mag for now and check back after a few hundred rounds.  In my world, the third shot has a really low hit percentage anyway and you can always load one pretty quickly for cripples.

You probably already did, but check the interwebs and YouTube to see if anyone has figured it out.  I'm not familiar with that gun, is it a clone of something else?
