There is a special place in hell for the dude who made 45 auto cases with small primer pockets...

For reals

If you are not willing to die for freedom then take the word out of your vocabulary.

I would like to know the reason why someone would want to use small pistol. So far I've only found them with Federal casings. I know one guy who shot an event in AZ, when getting ammo at that range they asked if he wanted small or large primers.

I believe some SP primered cases are used for the .45 Glock.

They came up with small primers because they reduced the lead content at indoor ranges.  Supposedly they small primers put out less than the large primers...

I think the guy just hated .45 reloaders

I figured it was a way to take advantage of some surplus in small pistol primers some manufacturer was experiencing or something.  Some green new deal nightmare makes more sense!

All mine are federal too.

It just really breaks the reliading rhythm when they show up on the press...

I bought a 10mm instead of a .357 so I could at least standardize primers between it and my .45 colt. Picked up a bunch of blazer brass case ammo...small primers! :bash:
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun
