Any chance for a shore bound fly fisher in the area?  Not species picky, thanks

Pretty much dreaming, My dad was the superintendant of Alaska Packers which is now the resort complex. I spent a ton of time on the spit. Only thing we ever caught was piling perch and it was a timing thing, summer. The silvers used to mill around up the spit on the inside across from the museum, they always had lockjaw and wouldn't bite, again timing based late September early october. Your going to get some casting practice in and that's about it.
