if I am in the woods when it's not hunting season, I carry my Super Blackhawk 44. mag.  You should have seen the granola eaters faces a few years back when my wife and I hiked the spider gap, image lake loop.  My mag has the long barrel and it was strapped to my back pack frame, they all looked disgusted or scared as they hiked on by us.   :)

I carry a samuri sword......sometimes my bowstaff too

Is that what you use for the bigfoots too?  Because personaly, as a professional, I use my hands.  :)
