That's only with YOUR cameras Dave.  :chuckle:

I'm generally creeped out about leaving cams out too. Lock boxes are a good idea IMO. Not too many folks carry bolt cutters.
May the morning silence be broken with the wisp of vanes trailing blades to their mark.

So I have had the cameras out soaking for almost two months.  I hiked in yesterday with sign everywhere so was excited to see what I had.... No pics on the first camera, was a little suprised but ok, so I hit the next one and know for sure there are going to be pics on it with fresh tracks right in front of the camera....no pics...
I look at the folder details where the pics are stored and see that it has been modified as of April 03....?  So now I am thinking that somebody has been going to my cameras and taking the pics off of them.  Whats with that, I could care less if you look at them but just don't delete them, sheesh   >:(

I had the same issue last year. Had my camera in a spot where I was getting a few shots per day of deer. Took it back for a 2nd round, immediately saw some suspicious footprints three weeks later when I went back, not one deer pic on it. I tried again for two more weeks and nothing. I finally realized something was up and totally cleaned off the disk, someone the last trip had actually taken the card out, went home with it and took some bizarre pics and replaced it. Guess some folks are really bored.

I don't know about you guys i don't care if my camera is 80 bucks or 260 bucks its my camera and i'm gonna put it in a spot where i know no one will come across it except wildlife. I use mine on private land, would never ever think about putting it on public land though.
Ruger brought back the .220, i just shoot it.

That private land trick is not going to work. Ask Bob he got his stolen off private land
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
