Pair of Black Bears (BlackRiver Tax.)
« on: March 01, 2021, 01:13:17 PM »
Husband/Wife team connected with these two bruins and wanted them each posed just 'as they were' before the shots was taken. First bear, the husbands, was digging in a stump. Found a comparable form and had some major alterations to complete along with a custom habitat set.
The second bear is the wife's. The bear, I was told, had his mouth half open standing up over a log. Added some moss and a tree fungus I found years ago for a little more 'life' to the set. Really happy how they both turned out, especially the digging bear, which had a lot of alterations to make both the form and habitat look correct. Both nice respectful western Washington bears too! Thank you to these returning clients with trusting me with their trophies and thank you for the work!

Those are neat, and unique. I really like these kind of mounts. Nice work!

Beautifully done!
