When I was guiding fly fishing trips, I kept a number of white strike indicators that I'd colored half red just for the guys that were a little too snobbish about fly fishing. Definitely affected the tips.
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

To be expected when you’re dealing with artists   :chuckle:

Stay above the roza and get out at the roza parking lot/recreation area. Like someone else said, not bait river. I've caught many nice trout in that stretch. Not a fly guy but small black rooster tail or small dark red rooster tail will get them eventually. If you can stop in some slower moving water just keep casting and don't be surprised if you nail something in the 16 to 24 inch range.

That's respectable.  Personal best is 20" ish.  I can and have fly-fished, but with small kids, I'd probably skip it except for maybe trolling some spinners (following any gear rules, of course).

I was at a store when a guy asked where the strike indicators were. The employee directed him to the "bobber section". That must have hurt.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.
