Camo dipping recommendations
« on: June 26, 2021, 06:46:41 AM »
I have a shotgun I’d like to have dipped to add a camo finish. Any recommendations for vendors in Washington?

I can't help you with a shop for a dip, but I must say I was very surprised/impressed with the Mossy Oak vinyl camo wraps. They only cost $30, are pretty easy to install with an xacto knife and a heat gun, look pretty good if you take your time, and tested waterproof and easy to remove. Is a dip better, definitely, but it may be worth looking at if you want something cheap.

NW Hydroprint in Montesano does good work.

Pretty sure he just does stock and furnature, no FFL items.

I'd look into selling your shotgun and buying a new one in camo.

That is what I did since there wasn't much of a price difference.

The factory camo is also a lot tougher.

They did some work for me that turned out well, but I think they let their FFL go and can’t do full firearms anymore.
