G loomis rod
« on: July 02, 2021, 08:01:26 AM »
I was fishing with my son last weekend and slipped on a rock.  When I fell, I was carrying my rod and it snapped in half.  My wife bought me this rod just under a year ago.  I know this is completely my fault, but does G Loomis have a warranty for this type of situation?

I broke a GL4 fly rod in half several years ago. Totally my fault. They replaced it. No guarantees but that's my experience with them, and that's the reason I own a few Loomis rods.

Yes, they have what they call the expediter system. Call the Woodland store, tell them what happened. They'll get your card number and ship you a rod that matches or closely matches what you had and charge you a hundred bucks.. When the new rod gets there you simply ship the broken rod back. If you don't send the old rod back they charge your card full price. Easy as that.

:yeah: Yep. There's a couple options with Loomis, but the $100 bill for a new rod is what I always do.

you can take it to a dealer like sportco and do the expeditor on the spot and take home a new rod
