1960 WA Upland Regs
« on: July 02, 2021, 01:58:57 PM »
One of my in-laws was cleaning this week and found an old upland regulations/bag limits. Figured I'd share it, amazing how the regs fit on a small tri-fold pamphlet.

I have a 1973 pamphlet,   half the size of a WA state map.  Has ALL the hunting regs in it.  Big game, upland bird, migratory bird, etc,  all on one side, the other side was a state map.

Oh how times have changed!   Less animals, Less time but higher costs
The only good tree, is a stump!

Duck limits were small. Anyone remember why?

I found this, looks like there were half the ducks in 1960 as now.

Interesting, 1960, I'd figr there were trillions of birds, half the people, and lead was flying.

Everybody seems to forget that the population of WA has roughly doubled in just the last 30 years....

I believe the duck numbers were down because of prolonged drought in major nesting areas
