Been around. Use a recurve. Easier to clean and below 120' you cant see pins very well.

I believe there are styles of spear fishing that are considered bow and arrow.

I have seen some guys chum them up and get them breaking on the surface then stick them.

I hope to shoot a mako one of these years.

I'm wondering if there are areas/ times of year that flounder are real shallow, as they are in the Southeast.
