Overall the us has been doing so-so in the medal department except the shooting sport and they are kicking ass.... to bad the media wont give them credit.. :(

Actually there has been a fair amount of coverage and accolades for the shooting competition compared to other years

I agree with you, there is more than in Olympics past, social media has helped to get these people the attention they deserve. I think that the Biathlon, has brought attention to the shooting sports in the Olymics. This is something I like to see, we have a long list of Olymians that won Gold and were never aknowledged for their acheivenment, only becuase they won gold with a firearm. I just wish the clay sports televised well, but they don't. More people would watch if they did. Which in turn may grow the ranks of gun owners and shooters in this country. :twocents:
