I like the 200gr bullet from Montana Bullet Works over Alliant 2400. I've shot this combo in a few different 10mm pistols with good results. Start at 9.5gr and work up until the gun tells you to stop. I'm at 1275fps with 11.5gr of 2400 in a 5" Kimber with a 22# variable weight recoil spring, 28# hammer spring, and a flat-bottom firing pin stop. I don't know if I'd go that high in a Glock or other stock pistol though.

I am looking at those... probably will be the way I go but have you ever tried the 220s? I have not been able to figure out who is making them.

I played with the Cast Performance 220gr in both of my 10’s and wasn’t happy with them. They never penetrated in a straight line, always veering off course a couple inches into whatever I was shooting. The 220s are ridiculously long and I don’t think most guns are properly stabilizing them. I think I have a couple hundred of the 220 on my shelf if you want to try some.

For comparison, these are unfired and recovered bullets shot into 20% gel blocks. That’s a 200gr from Montana Bullet Works, a 152gr bullet I had Hammer make for me, the Cast Performance 220gr and a 180gr XTP.

OK, starting the load testing and am going to use Longshot (only powder I could find), 200gr Montana Hardcast, Starline Brass and winchester primers.... Has anyone used the Longshot for a similar load?   I'll post results soon.
BTW.... this will be in a G20
