Heading for Jarbidge tomorrow-muzzy elk
« on: September 13, 2021, 07:47:54 AM »
Buddy has a muzzy elk tag for Jarbidge. Leaving tomorrow for the 17th thru the 30th hunt. Should be a great hunt as the season was moved up a couple weeks to put it dead center in the rut. Any archers been there already this year?

Back from the Jarbidge with my buddy not punching his tag.. Some of the nastiest country I have ever hunted. Great elk country though. Got on a couple bulls but only one was what my buddy would shoot and he gave us the slip. Probably not the best idea  for two guys our age to DIY but it was a great time and tough but incredible country. Was not expecting scorpions  and snakes though. Did see some nice bulls taken by tag holders who used guides. Very few deer but lots of speed goats. Now on to Idaho!
