I was told from the person who sent me the pic that they personally know the guy and he decided to hunt up by Sandpoint some place and he was just driving around and stopping in spots to bugle and listen for a response and he drove up to a draw running up away from the road and bugled. Got a response, and decided to hike up into the woods. When he got up a few hundred yds he bugled and got another response, then raked a tree with a log and the bull just ran right into him. Supposedly been hunting 16 yrs and finally got an elk.    :dunno:

Lol that sounds like a story I would tell someone for fun

Yeah that's why I wanted to post it. I'm curious what other people who got the pic were told. Still an awesome bull no matter what.

The biggest bull I have seen was in that area. I saw it while chasing moose.  I saw him the day before the season started.  He is lucky I’m an honest boy.   I’ll never forget him. Heaviest antlers I’ve ever imagined basically.

A couple things with this bull... I heard he was a NE Washington archery bull. Depending on how recently it was actually taken... to my knowledge and understanding there’s currently no season open in the panhandle units until the tenth...

We need to see another picture of this bull. It looks like a giant.

I’ve got a buddy up there he is an older gentleman, great old guy and a hell of an outdoorsman. He says he picked up a 22 pound single ek shed up there years ago.

98% sure it’s a Washington bull. The sheds are almost identical. I was hoping to see/hear the story on here to confirm destroy the thought of that bull being dead. A Buddie, Luckiest sob ever.. found 2020 sets and 2018 sets. Unreal girth. Amazing bull.
