CVA Optima Ace in the hole sight
« on: August 27, 2021, 01:59:23 PM »
I'm really hoping someone has an answer.   I replaced my stock sight with the williams ace in the hole peep.  I've run out of adjustment with it,  the front stock sight is too tall.  Does anyone know of a good front sight replacement that is the proper height with the ace in the hole?  I've done lots of web browsing and am having trouble getting the right sight that still exists (some are discontinued).  Thanks in advance!  BTW, not wanting to shim the rear sight just yet....

A peeprib will solve all of your problems. This will bring your sight back to the beginning of the barrel and you'll also have a rail in case you ever want to put a scope on it.

So the ace in the hole is almost identical to the peep rib.  I think people have the same issues with it,  the front sight being too tall on the cva optima.  Does anyone have an optima that has bought an aftermarket front sight to remedy the issue?

I bought and use the marble uni-ramp, bought from midway. Works great. I have the same setup with the ace in the hole on my CVA optima.

I also got a new Optima and had a williams peep put on it.  Same issue with me, ran out of adjustment on the rear.  I had someone recommend, the peeprib and it  solved all of my issues.

Thanks for the advice.   Ordered one and mounted it last night,  looks like it will work great!
