Nice trout!!! Was that the Twin Lakes outside Colvile? Tried heading up that way lastweekend and never made it. To busy bear hunting. You know they are good trout when you fillet them  :chuckle:
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.

Nice catch!  Looks like an awesome lake too.  Does that lake produce year round?  We usually stay here on the west side and fish around north end.  Lk. Erie puts out for a month or so then gets real slow.  Always fun going out though and trolling around.  Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks for sharing the pics.  I used to go up to Twin when I was a kid, and I threaten to make it up there every year.  I think those pics were just the motivation I needed... :chuckle:

Our group has made it up to the lake the last weekend of April for 13 straight years! It's always a great time! Spend four days golfing[Deer Meadows],fishing, card playing, and drinking with some of the best people I know! We catch rainbow and brook trout[12"-16"]. There's also a few bass caught. It's definitely one of my favorite places to fish! Dano

Nice pictures! Looks like a good time.

No smallies but real good largemouth fishing. Our family has a cabin up there and we go a few times a summer. We use to go twice a month when I was younger. I have seen some 10# largemouth speared out from under the docs by the locals(not my kind of fishing but thats what they do). We love the bass fishing.  Their 4th of July firework show is pretty fun too.

Here are some I took----
