I use a bungee a few feet long. I can pull it taut and pull a little more and it makes the deek turn/roll like its bathing creating ripples in the water. Let go of the cord and it swims away. To eliminate weight on the walk into the blind I have a mesh bag I fill with rocks to use for an anchor, when done hunting I empty the rocks out.
God Bless,
Scott
