Donation Recommendations - Hunter Advocacy Groups
« on: December 20, 2021, 09:41:02 AM »
My company donates some money on every employee's behalf every year to the nonprofit organization of our choosing. I want my donation this year to go to a WA hunter advocacy group like the W4WC or HHC but I can't find their donation info (like their Federal ID # or even the adresses of the organization). Anyone know where I can find that info? Or are they not nonprofit groups?

A google search really just brings up ConservationNW and Washington Wildlife Federation. The latter seems to be more pro-hunting.

This link indicates that 93% donations goes directly to local WA habitat restoration programs.

@Hunter4Life  @Bushcraft
Help?

I sent the request for info up the food chain. I imagine the information will be forthcoming soon.

Both HHC and WWC are 501(c)(4) organizations.

The tax ID for HHC is 91-1948983

The tax ID for WWC is 91-1699914

I hope this helps.

Awesome, do you have the WWC address? Can't seem to find that either and it's required information on our form.

Might have found it by searching the Fed ID #.

PO Box 625

Let me know if that's incorrect!

Are you sure your company will match contributions to a 501c(4) organization?

I didn't want to be a downer but I thought the same thing when I saw that. It might be a good idea to ask your employer AND have a back up 501c3 just in case

It's not a contribution match, it's just a contribution in my name on behalf of the company. Pretty nice, not taken out of my check or anything. No mention of the org needing to be a 501c(3) but if there's an issue they'll just contact me and have me provide a different org.

No to both questions. Kettle range seems to embrace the Lack of predator management in the NE.
