My name is in the hat for NV, MT, ID and Wa I guess.  Seems like I put in for preference in CO.  So at least there are a couple hats involved.

I'm only in in WA this year, hopefully next year I'll be able to add MT and UT to that.  My brother-in-law is in for ID and he is a resident so his odds are a bit better than the non-res.  It would be his first time hunting big game if he gets drawn and being able to help him out with everything would be almost as exciting as goat hunting myself for me.

He applies for goat as his first big game hunt?  Wow - that should be a learning curve for him.

LOL, yeah, but he's a mountain kind of guy, the thrill of the hunt is being in the wild country, not necessarily seeing a lot of animals.   Plus, both of our fave animals are mountain goats so that makes things more interesting.

I hope he draws (as long as he leaves one tag for me) :)    It would be a heck of a way to start out hunting thats for sure.

Great looking animal.  So, what is better looking, the goat, or seeing SUCCESSFUL next to his name on a goat tag...? :chuckle:
