Mountain View, Lick Creek
« on: May 09, 2009, 06:44:28 PM »
So I was curious about both of these units. Why is it so much easier to draw mountain view then most of the other units in the blues? Are the bulls that much smaller?

Also since lick creek is a new hunt how many people are gonna apply? 100, 200, or more applicants? Is the quality as good as the surrounding units?

There are plenty of big bulls in those units but a lot of private land that most guys won't have access to. nwhunter

mountain view has lots of private land

lick creek has lots of public land but also has lots of tribal hunting issues and lots of roads.

judging by the number of general season hunters in there, there will be a lot of permit applicants for 175 too.
