Any more information on the reason for the fundraiser? I think folks are a lot more likely to cough up some cash if they have a back story.

So because I posted this I figured I would fill in some more details. The tickets are being distributed at Woods Logging supply. This saw is the no longer produced 461 and by many professional cutters better than new production saws. A local cutting/falling business owner purchased 30 of these before they were discontinued. When everyone on here asks about a saw they say buy one if you can find it because folks don't sell them.

I called Woods and asked them some details because I saw this online. The fundraiser came up on my FB feed from a bunch of my logging buddies.  He worked for Neilson Logging a well known business. He was the sole provider for his family and his wife is disabled. I didnt know him personally. I do know the folks at Woods in Sedro. If they are running this fundraiser it's legit. I belive they are selling tickets at the Demming Logging show as well.  If you have ever been you know they raise a bunch of $ for busted up loggers at the show. I hope this fills in the details and the original post was a poor execution of cut and paste from a phone.

The saw was donated by Woods Logging supply as it was the last one they had squirrled away.

Does anyone know if Woods in Longview will have tickets as well?

Also, I still have a 461, and it is the best small saw I've ever ran.   Wish there was something like it when I was on the cutting crew!  It's so much lighter than a 66, it makes me smile when I use mine.

I dont think so, I belive this is local gig.  I belive the main reason why this is cash only is you are not allowed to do drawings by selling tickets over the phone or online... BUT you could contact one of your friends in the area, or one that plans on visiting the Demming Logging show, and they could buy one for you.
